Fantastic experience from start to finish. Made me feel very comfortable ensuring all the information with regards my injury was clear and the options i had available.
Have to say the surgery was faultless in terms of keeping me informed both prior and on the day, as was the aftercare. Brilliant work, definitely the NHS at it's absolute best.

I was not told before the operation that I was being given a hip replacement but it seems to have been an unqualified success.
I met Mr Zameer at the fracture clinic on 9 January 2020 when we had a productive discussion and I felt listened to.

Very friendly, helpful and professional doctor/surgeon.
I recently had a knee arthroscopy operation at Blackheath Hospital by Dr Zameer Shah. The care I have received has been fantastic and I am recovering really well.

Mr Shah has both a comforting 'bed-side manner' and is an expert in his field. Our conversations are pleasant and he explains matters in clear and simple language.
I am confident he will address my issues and that my knee will recover fully.

Mr Shah recently performed an arthroscopy on my right knee. I've had this procedure a number of times before with several other surgeons but I have to say that this time I felt far more confident about the outcome. He is extremely approachable, listened carefully to all my queries and explained all treatment options, and then the results of the procedure itself, very clearly. He has a really efficient team and I found the whole experience at the Blackheath Hospital under his care most reassuring. Now for the other knee!
